Assumption Over Stonehill 28-14

The boys were awesome this week! Stonehill came in defeating the only team that Assumption lost to which w

as Liu Post. Assumption's Brendan Tobey threw all over their defense and threw a couple of awesome passes early including a deep ball and a pass he threaded the needle for a score. From there the defense took over and shut down quite a few scoring attempts for Stonehill offense. The game got interesting in the final quarter with Stonehill threatening to score, but Assumption defense once again rose to the challenge.

Assumption is on their way to the Championship game against the New Haven Chargers. If they win they may be able to make the playoffs for the first time in Assumption Football History. Check out the Box Score Below.
